On February 19, over 70 internationals gathered at Couvéehuis for a unique and entertaining evening with comedian and historical guide Luuk van der Vaart. His comedy lecture, The Story of the NL, offered a fast-paced, witty, and insightful take on Dutch history and culture, leaving the audience both laughing and learning.
The event provided a welcoming space for newcomers to connect and engage with their adopted home in a lighthearted way. The evening ended on a high note with a glass of wine, allowing guests to mingle and share their impressions.
